Deleting files on OS X was not an intuitive process for me.
On Windows, you select the file and press the delete key. On OS X, I tried pressing the delete key but nothing happens. I have been using the mouse to drag and drop files to the trash can, which is a very inefficient process.
To delete a file on OS X, select the file in question, and press command-delete, which will send the file straight to the trash can! I should have known...
